Over the years, medicine has made some pretty incredible advances. These days, doctors are able to treat all sorts of diseases that were once deadly, and people are able to lead longer and healthier lives.

But even with all of the progress that science and technology have allowed medicine to make, some things were still considered impossible. One of those things was a human head transplant. Until now that is.

It looks like human head transplants aren’t such a farfetched idea after all and the first one has recently been completed at a hospital in China.

The announcement came from Professor Canavero, director of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group, who shared the news at a press conference in Vienna. But before you get too excited, this head transplant isn’t exactly what you think.
