When news broke that a feature film version of Stephen King’s It would be hitting theaters this year, horror movie films everywhere were incredibly excited at the thought of being terrified by Pennywise the Dancing Clown one more time.

After all, the 1990 miniseries version of It was a huge hit, and Tim Curry’s performance in the role of Pennywise has become absolutely legendary.

Now a whole new generation has the chance to be totally creeped out by It and apparently, the upcoming film will give you the chills.

In fact, Stephen King, the author of the book that inspired both the miniseries and the feature film, has already seen a sneak peek of It and he’s shared his opinion with a popular horror movie outlet.
