Have you ever stopped and wondered how people lived before 2010? Not literally, but how they knew how to do anything? That’s the year that Instagram was brought into our lives and made the amateur photographer think they should be up for a Pulitzer for every picture posted. Eight years later and it seems like people need Instagram in order to function on a daily basis.
Do you want to lose weight? There’s an Instagrammer to help. Do you want some makeup help? IG has it. How about eating? Yup, that too. It’s crazy to think about the number of people who have become Instafamous for posting on Instagram.
On the flip side, it’s great that artists are able to share their talents with the world but let’s face it – everyone thinks they’re an expert at something. And the go-to has now become Instagram. We get that there are people that genuinely want to share what they’ve learned over the years with the masses but it turns out they may not be always dishing out the best advice.
For instance, all of these photos you see were posted by a “clean eating” expert who blogs and posts about smoothies and other goodies that are natural and healthy. But what you may not even realize you’re looking at is also toxic. At least, a part of what you’re seeing.
