Once the accusations started coming out about Bill, everyone was curious as to how his costars felt about their time with him. Were there signs? Did they have knowledge of anything? Did he drug and rape them? Phylicia Rashad was one of the first to speak out.
Ms. Rashad defended him, first saying she loved him, and then saying to Roger Friedman’s Showbiz 411, “What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated. I don’t know why or who’s doing it, but it’s the legacy. And it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture,” she continued. “This show represented America to the outside world. This was the American family. And now you’re seeing it being destroyed. Why?”
While speaking on The View, Raven-Symone was very political with her response to the accusations. “I don’t really like to talk about it that much because he’s the reason I’m on this panel in the first place. He gave me my first job,” she said. “But at the same time, you need the proof, and then I’ll be able to give my judgment here or there. And now there are real facts. More people can come up.”
People have been waiting on Lisa Bonet’s comment’s, and she’s finally spoken out. While avoiding actually saying he was guilty, she did allude to having an idea he wasn’t as clean as his image showed him to be. Check out the video below…
