Every generation complains about the transformation to the next.
In the 1950’s, the “Greatest Generation” couldn’t understand the attraction younger folks had to that hip-shaking blasphemer Elvis Presley.
Less than a decade later, Beatlemania hit and the folks who used to dance the Charleston at school formals thought the youth of the 60’s was going to Hell in a handbasket.

It happened again in the 70’s, the 80’s, the 90’s and now the people who grew up being told that there was no hope for Generation X after the Beastie Boys told everyone “you have to fight for your right to party” is now doing the same to their kids.
It isn’t about the music or the fashion – okay, some GenX’s complain ad nausea about millennials’ choices for both – now people are up in arms about software updates to their favorite social media sites.
Snapchat is like a house and Instagram is a burglar who robbed it. So they put in new furniture and everyone’s like “I liked the old place”

Sure, anytime you have to navigate through Facebook’s latest algorithm, it takes a few days to get the hang of it.
Then someone posts a handy “how to” and you move on with life.
But Snapchat’s recent update has people out of their minds and even had users start change.org petitions for the social media app to go back to their days of yore.

Snapchat wasn’t the easiest app to use for most people but it is insanely popular, which is why many users are claiming the newest update to make the app easier has actually made it more difficult.
If you’re one of these people we’ve got some good news for you. You can actually set it back to the way things once were.
