Child sex abuse is a very serious issue that effects children all over the world. Both boys and girls can be victimized, and the trauma of these experiences often sticks with people throughout their entire lives.
Over the last several years, information regarding child sex abuse via human trafficking has become more and more prevalent, and many people have taken a stand to help end put a stop to this horrific abuse.
One of those people is actor, Ashton Kutcher. In 2009, Kutcher and his now ex-wife, Demi Moore, founded Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children. Thorn was created to help eradicate child abuse and human trafficking by aiding the police and helping to identify abusers.
According to Kutcher, the project has been successful and has helped save 6,000 children from abuse.
